Søren,

USB host does seem to draw a lot of power, but you should get more than 3-4 pix though, how many minutes does it last? Mugen has an extended battery now BTW.

After you experience the D3 disconnecting, select File->Prefs->Send Log to support, and I`ll take a look, could be the profile on the camera is not quite right.

Hi Paul,
I purchased the Toshiba on your recommendation. It is quite unstable and disconnects to the camera frequently. What is more serious is that I can transmit only 3 - 4 pix before the USB connection is lost because of lack of power!
I get a warning dialog box and that's it.

I use it tethered with a D3 and yes, I have set up everything correctly ( I think,he).

So, either my phone battery is just a bad one or the phone eats batteries ?

best
Søren

Better actually, the Canon's are designed to keep the screen on when tethered so have always worked great. Feel free to let me know if you have more questions.

Toshiba brought their new TG01 phone up to Cambridge for Keith to test, and while he only got to play with it for half an hour or so, it worked great with both a direct USB connection from the phone to the camera, and via WiFi using an Eye-Fi card, so I would definitely put it at the top of your list. Second would be the HTC Touch Pro. I have not personally tested the Touch Pro II, and given that Soren just posted that he is having a problem with it, the Touch Pro 1 would be the safest bet for now.
